Actually I wanted do to an tiny update this Saturday. At least it has been some weeks until the last one. Unfortunatelly there isn't anything to post. Maybe the lack of motivation really killed the fun of drawing. I'll think about that... (;

"Animagic 2011" is over and there are some things to show! As promised, here is the full picture I painted for the Shikishi.

The characters belong to "Grimms Manga- Sonderband" which is a collection of some shortstories connected to the Grimm fairytales.

My colleages and I did a special thing on this Convention. We painted a huge picture with all our characters. Much fun! (;

And finally I'm very proud to say that "die Wolke" has won the Animania Award! Jepeeeee! *_*

Let's start with these really old sketches I made around 2005. Didn't know I kept more than one page (I think I posted the first one some time ago). I kind of liked the story but on the other hand stories with magic books in it are getting old.
However it's pure nostalgia for me! (;

I think at some point you have to admit that things don't work as they should do. That's exactly what happens to my Comic project right now.
Working on it a day, then having to do sth. completely different, coming back to it, seeing that it looks like shit, being annoyed, working on it another day, turning towards something different, coming back and start to hate all of the few pages really drives me crazy. I wanted this to become something good but I think I can't make it that good right now so I'll stop trying. Means no Comic in the near future but...

At this point I would like to post a review of stuff I did during the last year. Frustrating to see, how little there is. Of course I did some official work but nothing special to post or to be satisfied with. So another year without comics and fanart goes and will be followed by the next one. Sadly there are still about 35 years to pass... Fxxx yXX 2010!!!!!
I didn't want to post it yet because there might be serious changes in character design (and of course many corrections) but as I mentioned, I haven't done a lot and this is a bit of it.

I'm angry! Today is release day of Uncharted 2 and I get no copy! It's the first time for months, maybe even years I didn't order a game online because it is not cut anyway. So I decided to buy it in a shop in town. Went through rain and storm literally and then.....not one copy there. Unfortunatelly there is no other store that sells games and I have no car. These guys are characters of my very first Manga/Comic concept ever. Of course the picture is not that old, but through the years the strory changed and I continued developing the plot from time to time (and I'm still working).

The picture was just for fun and as always I didn't finish it. Design and details are not final yet but I tried out some brushes and wondered about the temperature of this "world". It's going to be cold, but I'm not sure about how cold it will be...

I took an old sketch that I drew for another RE-doujinshi and made a speed-painting on it. There was no way to get a good face on Chris even if I tried several times. It was not getting better, so I gave up for this time! ._.
I think the gun was the most work because I used the "line-tool"(?). The result is better than with brush so I think I will practise working with it when drawing guns.

I haven't been very productive lately (at least not in stuff I should do for earning some money).
Before exploding (or getting rusty) I turned to my beloved doujinshi again. (:
I should not do it, but somehow it feels more useful, then just sitting here and wait.

I don't know what else to post, so here is a cutting of it. I decided to make some kind of "scenery collection" for saving some time later. I'll see if it works and if I have the stamina to draw all the planned backgrounds first.
